About Me
I know what it’s like to grow up in a rural setting with limited resources.
I grew up in Chilliwack, BC, where I experienced marginalization. I was looking for a place where I fit in, and I found that in the gay community. I ended up partying a little too hard and eventually turned toward sobriety for my next chapter.
I know what it can be like to look for connection and belonging in nightlife, and to reconsider where those needs are met. You don’t need to be sober, or want to become sober, to work with me.
Relationships and belonging
Dating, long-term relationships and friendships can bring up questions about closeness and what you need from another person. I work individually with people in all kinds of relationships, including non-monogamous ones.
A community can be a place where you feel at home, but also a place where you wonder how much of yourself you can show. What you enjoy about gay life matters here as much as what has been difficult.
