Therapy for queer and 2SLGBTQIA+ folks

I'm a queer counsellor. That means a few practical things.

It means you don't have to explain what it's like to come out, or to keep coming out, or to decide which parts of yourself to share with which people. You don't have to teach me about your relationship structure, your pronouns, or the difference between gender and sexuality. And you won't get overly careful reactions to the ordinary parts of your life.

It also means I have a lived sense of what this can be like. What it's like to be tired of explaining yourself. How family can be complicated in either direction, given or chosen. How identity keeps moving and shifting long after coming out. And how shame often hides underneath anxiety or burnout and looks like something else entirely.

I work with queer and 2SLGBTQIA+ clients on all kinds of things. Coming out. Figuring out identity. Family issues. Navigating relationships. Burnout. Anxiety. Grief. Substance use. Or just wanting a therapist who embraces those conversations.

If that's what you've been looking for, I'd love to hear from you.
